We ate here for lunch and we enjoyed it. This place has about 3-5 tables for dine in. I guess it used to mostly be a tortilla shop but a couple of weeks ago they opened for breakfast and lunch in the front of it. Prices were pricier than expected for a one $ restaurant on Yelp, I would say it is more of a 2 $ place. I got the playa breakfast burrito which came with eggs, bacon, avocado, kale and mozzarella ($18) and it was wrapped perfectly and had the freshest orange slices on the side. There was a heat to it some spiciness and it stayed so hot cuz it was so tightly wrapped. My man had the cheese enchiladas ($18) and it came with green sauce, rice and beans which were all very tasty. I especially loved the beans. Nice touch with chips and salsa and our waitress was super sweet. We even bought some fresh corn tortillas to take home. We need to come back and try more stuff. Oh, and there's not a bathroom but they have hand sanitizer to wash your hands.
I was pleased to find a variety of dishes ranging from tacos and chilaquiles to chile relleno and enchiladas. I was happy that they offered veggie options being a pescatarian! The service was fast and very friendly. Small place but enjoyable to eat here. Would definitely go again. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics ahead of time and ate the food it was sooo tasty and authentic. I was only able to get a picture of burrito.
Authentic, excellent tacos, rice, beans, enchiladas, burritos & of course TORTILLAS! Not to mention the Lovely Staff.
The is fresh ...plus the Tortillas are so Good ..... The only thing ....She is not there all the time... She cooks Good....plus it's Big plates .... Thank you ..
I visited this place on 04-20-2021, I'm giving this place a 5 star, the food is delicious, great customer service. I had a chicken hard taco combo it was delicious. I wanted carne asada tacos , but I was told they were out of meat, and guacamole, Jamaica agua Fresca. I will try again. I recommend it .
SO GOOD. I'm gluten-free and Maria's had the most amazing tamales, I could have eaten six. The rice and beans are delish and the corn tortillas... I had to take home a bag. Nicest staff too!
A friend recommended this place! We ordered masa for tamales and the restaurant smelled so good we ordered food. It was really fresh, very flavorful and delicious!!! Can't wait to come back and try it again!
Stumbled across this gem while looking for new options around my job for lunch. I decided on the asada plate. Fresh and yummy !! The tortillas were hot and fresh as well. The food was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Delicious! I will definitely be coming back.
